Behind
the Signal
Neon Frontier is a music-first fictional universe where synths meet dust, outlaws cross the stars, and every song leaves behind a story.
The project
One world · Three ways in
It begins with a song.
The music comes first. A voice, a scene, or a bad decision appears inside it—and the world grows outward from there.
Stories follow the people behind the lyrics. The Codex records the places, alliances, and trouble surrounding them. The artwork catches whatever refuses to fit neatly into words. Each piece can stand alone, but together they form one ongoing transmission from the edge of civilization.
The front door. Outlaw songs, private confessions, and signals from beyond the civilized line.

Dust. Neon.
A little trouble.
The frontier is built from contrasts: retro-futuristic technology against weathered Western grit, hard men with inconvenient feelings, danger with a sense of humor, and darkness that never quite manages to extinguish hope.
- Sound
- Dark synths, Western atmosphere, cinematic tension, and the occasional piano when things have gone terribly wrong.
- Tone
- Sexy, self-aware, dangerous, and emotionally sincere when the moment earns it.
- Setting
- A post-apocalyptic Earth stretching toward the stars, where authority is corrupt and freedom survives off-grid.
- Visual world
- Painterly graphic-novel noir: deep charcoal, dusty earth, muted amber, and restrained cyan and magenta light.

Creator’s note
Made for the joy of making it.
Neon Frontier is an independent creative project—a place to follow an idea wherever it wants to go, without sanding off the strange parts or turning every experiment into a business plan.
It is created anonymously by one person with an unreasonable attachment to space cowboys, neon light, complicated characters, and songs that sound like they escaped from another timeline.
The name stays hidden because the work is the interesting part. Besides, every respectable outlaw needs an alias.
